Life is beautiful, and I’m so thankful to be given this one to live.
I am often asked how Jesus has changed my life. In the most divine transformation that exists, He changed my life by becoming my life. As Galatians 2:20 says, “I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me.” My goal is to just live a life worthy of the calling that I have recieved as a Christ follower.
There are two people in my life who have taught me everything I know that is good. And they are the best kind of teachers- the kind who don’t even need to speak, they teach with their lives. Richard and Linda Tippett are my parents, and I see more Jesus in them than in anyone else I’ve ever encountered. I feel blessed beyond comprehension because of their obedience. How they have effected my life makes me realize the huge impact that mere people can have on others.
This is my incredible parents and me on my 21st birthday.
There are four more people who I feel the most encouraged by, challenged by, and loved by. They are my two older sisters, Stacie and Jen, my best friend Kristi, and my boyfriend Ben. “Anam cara” is an Irish phrase that describes a deep closeness that not all frienships posess. It is literally translated “soul friend” and that is what these four are to me.

And now, here are some random facts about me/ colorful thoughts that I have:
I find it interesting that we are the only part of God’s creation that doesn’t listen to or obey Him. Imagine if the rest of nature acted like us? Scary. I truely believe that when I see a shooting star, a miracle somewhere has occured.
Choosing a major wouldn’t be so hard if there were just a “change the world” major!
I feel very strongly about helping those who are victims of social injustices.
The color orange makes me happy. I enjoy cooking, but mostly because I know I will be eating soon after.
When I get bored, I paint pictures/words on my bedroom walls.
Mangos, mangos, mangos!! are my favorite food.
I like to worship through art and dance. I feel close to our Creator when I am being creative.
When you sponsor a child it not only provides a hot meal, clean water, discipleship, and basic medical care for the child, it also supports their family by inviting them through the gates of the CarePoint to receive training, discipleship and mentorship.
