1. I will always dream big.
It isn’t hard to tell what I am passionate about when you meet me. Beware of asking me my opinion on movies. I love to criticize and acclaim a variety of films. One day I plan on directing full length movies of my own. To accomplish such a feat I constantly must decide that I can do it. By believing in myself, I recognize more and more that I really will become a director. I still have a long way to go and am excited for the challenge!
2. I love the stars.
I love the skies, especially staring at the stars for hours. A clear night sky beckons to me to pray, plan, dream, and explore my thoughts floating through this scattered mind. God’s majesty and brilliance are revealed so evidently to me through a sparkling canvas of black night.
3. Laughter is my favorite noise.
I love to hear anyone genuinely laugh. It makes me want to join in their merriment. Sometimes it is so very good to simply soak that sound in through my ears.
4. I don’t believe in too much chocolate.
I eat chocolate on a daily basis. That’s no exaggeration. I can’t get enough!
5. I am incredibly proud of my family.
My family makes me so proud. I come from a home where I have watched my parents work through 27 years of ups and downs. Their marriage is beautiful and successful because they choose to love one another despite outside circumstances. Most importantly they continue to strive to have Jesus as the center of their relationship. I am excited to marry one day because of the incredible example my parents have set for me.
My brothers have taught me how to be strong. I love being sandwiched in-between them. My younger brother (on the left) is an amazing athlete who enjoys working hard in soccer, football, and volleyball! My older brother (on the right) is currently serving in the USA Air Force. I couldn’t be more proud to support him as he fights to protect our freedom.
6. Pigs are my favorite animals.
It’s a strange favorite animal I know. What can I say though? I find them to be absolutely adorable and I totally want to get a pet piggy!
7. My character can boil down to loyalty.
Everyone is made of multiple characteristics. I’m no different, and yet I find loyalty to be an incredibly evident characteristic in my life. I am loyal first and foremost to my Lord. I am loyal to His Word, the Bible. I am loyal to others. I am loyal to myself.
8. Imagination enthralls me.
I have a brain that can be taken by the wind with fascination in things that are and could be. I love to designs climatic scenes that I could make into entire movies. I daydream about impossibilities and then think about how I could make them possible.
Yes. I am a huge Disney fan!! Especially of Disney Princesses!!
9. I was forever changed last year.
Nothing can change a person like the Bible can. I am a testimony to this statement. In the school year of 2013-2014 I attended the Great Commission Bible Institute. In 10 months, my class of 14 systematically studied through the entire Bible from Genesis to Revelation. Every page. I learned what it means to apply every section of the Bible to my life, even genealogies! Oh, I still have a ton to learn, but God has brought me leaps and bounds after choosing to set aside an entire year to learn about what He said in His Word. My relationship with the Lord has grown tremendously and I am beginning to catch a glimpse of His character and goodness.
Fun Fact: In September of 2013 our class read through the whole Bible in 8 days as an assignment.
10. Jesus is my everything.
Nothing compares to my Jesus. I am not perfect. I still desire earthly things (like a convertible!!), but God continues to shift my perspective on how insignificant those things are compared to my relationship with Him. I want Jesus so much. I want to be a good follower and servant so I can tell others about how amazing it is to be in a relationship with Jesus.
