It’s my last week of ministry in Guatemala. That doesn’t even seem real. God has brought me through so much since being here, its been such a beautiful/difficult experience.

I just wanted to share some scripture thats been on my heart and been speaking to me these last couple weeks!

I’ve been reading in 1 Kings and the story of Elijah hiding in the wilderness from Queen Jezebel. Such an awesome part of scripture. You should go read it.

1 Kings 19The Message (MSG)

11-12 Then he was told, “Go, stand on the mountain at attention before God. God will pass by.”

“A hurricane wind ripped through the mountains and shattered the rocks before God, but God wasn’t to be found in the wind; after the wind an earthquake, but God wasn’t in the earthquake; and after the earthquake fire, but God wasn’t in the fire; and after the fire a gentle and quiet whisper.”

God wasn’t in the wind, the earthquake, or the fire.

God came in a quiet whisper.

He whispers because He’s close.

That has been so comforting to have hidden in my heart. I serve a God who gets my attention by whispering. He cares. He loves. He want’s me to listen in the quiet.

God is so faithful. Incredibly faithful. and He’s helping me to finish this season strong. Prayers are always appreciated. 🙂
