THAILAND.

Thailand is beautiful. And hot. Always hot.

Our schedule is pretty relaxed here as well as the people- we live in a beach community so it only makes sense. I eat rice with almost every meal and southern Thai people LOVE spice so I’ve about burned my mouth off several times.

My team and I live in an apartment and are working with a YWAM base which is about 5 minutes away from us. Tuesday’s and Wednesday’s we teach English at a school, which is such a great experience. The kids are so awesome and love to be loved on. The other days we help YWAM with their ministry here, It’s been awesome being with YWAM. They are so much fun and so full of Jesus.

The people in Thailand are so kind and love to accommodate us in any way, especially when it comes to food. We don’t go anywhere or to anyone’s house without receiving some type of refreshment. Their hospitality is beautiful.

If I want to go anywhere I walk or ride this rad bike with a basket (super helpful) i’m usually going to the Lotus which is a grocery store aka air conditioning or this awesome coffee shop that I go to way to much. My team and I love watching movies at night on a little computer screen and its so great. I’m fighting for the next movie to be Pride& Prejudice…we’ll see how that goes. On Mondays we have the day off so we get to explore a little bit. I love seeing other parts of Thailand. I think elephants might be next on our list which will be awesome.

The lord has been working in me so much since being here. He’s brought up things I need to walk through (anotherbloganothertime) and grow in. Asia is hard. So much harder than Guatemala. The climate is different the lifestyle is different the toilets are different – everything. I also have a new team which has been a new adjustment. They show me so many sides and characteristics of Jesus and I love having them in my life and on this journey. Through the difficulty and change there has been joy and growth and it’s been beautiful and a little messy. The good thing is the Lord is not afraid of my mess and I shouldn’t be either. There’s nothing like walking with Jesus daily and just living with Him. Anyways, thanks for reading! I only have two more weeks in Thailand and I can’t wait to see what they hold!!

Thank you for the prayers!
