The phrase “Jesus loves you” is said all the time by many people all over the world. There’s nothing wrong with letting the world know that they are loved, it is a pretty positive, uplifting thing to do, but have you ever actually stopped to think about just how much He really does love you? This past week, I did, and it blew my mind.
Have you ever met a human being that relentlessly pursued you for years no matter how many hundreds of times you told them you were uniterested? How about a person that wanted to give you nothing but blessings and gifts regardless of what you have said or how you felt about them? Somebody that was beaten to a pulp, stripped of their dignity, and nailed to a tree for you? The answer to these questions is most likely no (if you answered yes, I’d like to meet them please,) and chances are, you will never come across a human so selfless and crazy about you.
Jesus doesn’t just love us, He ADORES us! He wants to spend every second of our lives with us. He wants to hear about our day, how we are feeling, what we wish we had, what we plan to do tomorrow, or even about how we don’t know what to wear for the day. He loves the little details and actually gets excited when we tell Him! Is that insane or what!?
The King of the entire universe wants to talk to us!!!!!

Does that not excite you?! I’m sure if it was a celebrity you’d be jumping up and down, squealing like a child, dancing around the house, probably even be bragging to all your friends… He’s seven hundred billion times cooler than any celebrity and He actually wants to know us personally.
C’mon!! GET EXCITED PEOPLE!!
Jesus genuinely loves us so incredibly much, more than we can ever fathom. Give that phrase “Jesus loves you” some umph next time you say. Get passionate about it!
