Yup, that’s right, in 6 months from now, I will be leaving home behind for nearly a year to embark on a life changing journey. I know that the Lord is preparing the way, and I can’t help but laugh sometimes and ask “why did you pick me, Lord?” Then I remember that He has this tendency to pick the unqualified, the lowly in spirit, and the ones with willing hearts to do His work. The apostles, by themselves, were the “B team” at best. When they turned from themselves and trusted in Jesus, He led them and gave them a hope and a renewed life; we now think of them as the All-stars of the disciples that Jesus led. I’m getting back to the start of my faith, remembering humbly what it’s like to accept the grace that Jesus offers us, and dwelling in that grace. It’s been amazing to see the transformation that he’s been doing on my heart. I know there’s a lot more that he wants to change still, and it’s going to be a life long process, I can’t wait to see what he’s going to do!
I want to keep this one short and sweet, so here’s a short word of encouragement:
Romans 5:2: Through Him (Jesus), we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God.
