As many of you know Rwanda went through a mass Genocide in 1994. This Genocide tore the people of Rwanda apart. During the Genocide families were broken up and children were made fatherless. After the Genocide the people rebuilt their Government, housing and pieced families back together. This trauma caused many of the Rwandan people to burry their emotions and they are now working through the emotional trauma they were put through. The people here in Rwanda need Love. They just need simple Love, The Fathers Love, especially the children. There are so many children who are starving for Love and affection from any source they can get it from. We are that source for the children. We can show them the fathers Love. We can rebuild the children’s trust in others and show them how to Love and be Loved. And we are.
When God changed my route from Ethiopia to Rwanda He had a plan for Rwanda. He knew all the hurting souls that needed the Fathers Love. He knew what work He had for us. He knew the souls we would save. He knew the illnesses we would heal. He knew what people would touch our hearts and how we would touch theirs.
God has and is constantly giving me and my team the opportunity to do great works in His Kingdom. He has shown me what truly having Eternal Perspective looks like and what it looks like to live a life for Christ and let nothing else be on the list of priorities… Now all I have to do is follow through :). Everyday I am thankful that God has given me the opportunity to be traveling the world spreading His Gospel, Loving on His Image and bringing more people to rest at his feet.
