This week on the blog, I’m looking to hear back from YOU! But, it involves some self-reflection and requires that you slow down for a minute to think about some of these things. My heart for this space is that I can learn and glean from each of you, and incorporate some of these ideas/practices into my own life, as well as I’m hoping that each of your responses can encourage and guide others reading this! 

I have a template for basically two types of people, so read through fully and then you can decide where to go from there. You can answer in bullet points or paragraphs (shout out to all of my fellow verbal processors) or however you would like, and as little or as much as you would like! These questions are mostly to get thoughts flowing, but more or less I want your insight on a life tailor made to your interests, goals, desires, values, etc.

  • What if for once in your life you stopped doing what people expected you to do and you started living the life YOU imagined?
  •  What would you do from day to day? What would you incorporate into your daily schedule?
  • What would you NOT do? What are you doing now that you would stop?
  •  What do you value/not value? (Exercise, sleep, quality time, nature, laughter, authenticity, etc.)
  •  What’s keeping you from this life? (financial obligations, expectations of family, friends or others, unsure of how to get there/lack of resources, etc.)
  •  What are some plausible solutions to your concerns in the previous question?
  •  What can you sacrifice starting NOW, no matter how small or big, to start living the life you’ve imagined?
  •  What’s your biggest fear or concern going after this life?

 And those of you that are living that life you’ve always imagined or have started your journey there, what are some of the things that you’re doing or have done in the past to get you to this place?

  •  What did you STOP doing?
  •  What did you START doing? 
  •  What have you sacrificed/are sacrificing?
