1. I was born in California.
2. I've lived in Texas.
3. I've lived in Ohio.
4. I've lived in Montana.
5. I've lived in Washington.
6. I currently live in Hershey, Pennsylvania…the place where they make Hershey chocolate and Reese's Cups.
7. I'm moving back to Ohio in May.
8. I have an older sister and she gave me my nephew.Pray for her and my nephew. There is a custody battle happening currently.
9. I have a younger brother whom I think the world of.
10. I went to college in Kirkland, WA- Northwest University.
11. I feel very privaledged to go to school right up the hill from Lake Washington and overlooking Seattle…it is a beautiful place!
12. I was an RA in college for two years. It is the best job ever!
13. I have no idea what I want to do for a real job for my life.
14. If I could get away with it, I'd wear sweats almost every day.
15. Currently, I can almost get away with it since I'm a nanny.
16. I'm a lover of college football.
17. I'm an Ohio State fan.
18. I'm also a UW Husky fan.
19. I love fruit. I eat it almost every day.
20. I was the editor-in-chief of my university newspaper. I've concluded I don't want a job in journalism even though that job was fun.
21. I'm currently a nanny. I love kids but I couldn't do this job for my entire life.
22. I want to adopt all my children.
23. Adopt all four (3 boys and one girl).
24. Micah 6:8 is one of my favorite verses.
25. The world scares me.
26. I'm going on the race because God called me to go. Not because I want to travel the world.
27. I'm an extroverted introvert. I can seem extroverted but at the end of the day I will exhausted.
28. I love hearing other people's stories. Each one is so unique.
29. I always wear miss matching socks. Unless I have to be professional.
30. I've decided that 50 is a lot.
31. I listen to all kinds of music. Joshua Radin got me through many papers in college.
32. I'm white and Christian so I don't dance 😛
33. I enjoy sleep. Seriously, 9 hours a night is wonderful!
34. I'm 1/4 Ukrainian and I'm excited to go there. My great grandma used to tell me all about my herritage.
35. I went to Turkey 3 years ago and always chose the European bathrooms over the squatty potties. If it was a squatty potty, I didn't go. I'm going to have to learn to use a squatty potty.
36. I greatly enjoy camping though.
37. I read Acts 19 in the theater at Ephesus…where it took place. It was an incredible experience.
38. I've been on 3 missions trip. One to Vancouver, B.C. where we worked with a church that served street people. One to the south side of Billings, MT where did a VBS for kids growing up in the "ghetto." And one to Biloxi, MS after Hurricane Katrina.
39. My mission's trip where stateside for a reason…the world scares me.
40. However, God has given me an excitement for the world race.
41. The World Race is a total God thing for me. I would never choose to this on my own.
42. I'm almost to 50…woohoo 😉
43. I think time zones are the worst idea.
44. I will try most foods once.
45. I enjoy living near large bodies of water.
46. I hope to move back to the PNW after the Race.
47. However, that might change on the race.
48. Both of my grandpa's met Jesus face to face last year. I'm a little jealous.
49. Jesus is a friend of mine (look up the song by Sonseed…it's amazing. You will laugh). But Jesus is so much more than just a friend.
50. My identity is found in Jesus and without Him I'd be nothing. I hope to find more of Him while on the Race and in finding more of Him maybe, just maybe, I will find more of me.
