It's a fairly well known fact that I take a lot of pictures. I have taken thousands so far on the Race. Yet somehow, Cambodia holds the record for the most pictures taken in a month to date. The good ones are all up on Facebook here (the link works whether or not your have an account).
Here are some of my favorites.
A tuk tuk ride through the centuries old temples around Angkor Wat.
Sometimes a cold Coke is more important than a 900 year old temple.
Bracelets left at memorial sites of mass grave at the Killing Fields outside of Phnom Penh.
Some of our students came to 4 classes a day to learn as much English as they could, including a Bible class.
And sometimes they actually paid enough attention to learn something….
We made a lot of new friends and were able to encourage young believers.
We learned to open up even more of our hearts to love these amazing people.
And we will never ever forget these faces.
Or these faces.
Cambodia: you'll always be in my heart. Thank you for an amazing month.
I mentioned last blog my need for funding in concern with my personal finances. This is still a need. Please contact me via email at [email protected] to speak to me about how you could help meet this need.
