So this is a little something I call a blog about me.
Despite all my time writing, I don’t think I’ve ever been forced to actually
write down an autobiography about myself. That was until the World Racers got
involved.

See? God is ALREADY forcing me to do things I haven’t done
before. Sweet.

This has the potential to be a VERY long blog, so I will
spare you the many details and sum myself up to the best of my ability. After
all, how can you really get to know someone through a blog post unless they
make it a Million Page Novel? With that being said, I am more than willing to
talk/explain/share/ ANYTHING about myself. You only need ask.  🙂

I was born a long time ago in a magical land called Florida.
Why it is magical, I’ll never know. I think it is a little too hot to be
considered “Magical.” I’ve lived here my whole life, but I’ve moved around the
state a bit. I’ve had quite the tumultuous past, and even present at times. I
first learned to trust God when I was 12, simply because I was afraid of going
to hell. Yes, I was pretty shallow. I had a hard time living that life though,
because my parents aren’t followers of Christ, and therefore I’ve been forced
to disciple myself. It has been an arduous task, as I’ve had to learn to defend
my faith from my family, my friends, and my worst enemy, myself. Just like
Joseph in the book of Genesis, I know that the things I have faced have been
allowed for a purpose. What the world has meant for Evil, God has truly used
for my good and His Glory. I know that this journey is far from over, but I
continue to press on to take hold of that which Christ Jesus took hold of me.
(Philippians 3:12).

I am a living example of how God can change hearts. I used
to hate children, and now I long to minister to them. I used to feel “meh”
about missions, but now I don’t feel complete unless my feet are on foreign
soil. Rage, Depression, Pain. . . all of these things used to have a grasp on
my life, but now God has been remolding me with the loving hands of a potter on
a lump of messy clay.

Life is so good. God is so much better.

(Hmm.. I’m getting a tad long winded. . . see what I mean?)

Anyway, a little bit about myself. I am an artist at the
very core of my being. I’m inspired by life, words, music, and pretty much
everything in between. (Feel free to check out my art blog at The Art Of RandomK) I love to
read and write, and I really love movies. Some of my favorite TV shows include
Mythbusters and Dirty Jobs. I really love to meet new people and I especially
enjoy traveling, Which is why I feel like the World Race is right up my alley.
I will eat pizza with every meal if I could, and I’m not a big fan of fruit. I
have a very large Italian family, which leads to a tendency for me to be loud
and obnoxious, but I know the value of seriousness when it is necessary. I
think out loud, which has led to my nickname “Random K” because I usually say
what I’m thinking, and my thoughts are all over the place. I love to make
people laugh, even though it usually is at my own expense. I have a tendency to
be a little sarcastic which stems from years of working as a youth leader in my
Student Ministry at my church. I really love nature and animals, and I’m
completely blown away by the complexity of the universe in which we live at the
hands of our Creator. I’m not a fan of fake people, but I can really do get
along with nearly everyone. I have two amazing brothers who are growing up to
be amazing men of God. Hmm… I feel like that’s pretty much everything I can
think of at the moment. . . so in the spirit of “randomness”…. I’ll leave you with a little list.

Some Random facts about RandomK:
1.        When I wake up in the morning, I’d rather paint than eat breakfast.

2.        I see hidden images everywhere.. in the clouds, in the trees, in patterns on fabric or the way the water runs or the way fire burns… Sometimes I wonder if everyone could see what I saw if they only looked…but then I wonder if God made me differently so that I could be an artist?
That being said, I STILL have yet to see the man in the moon.

3.        My blood type is Coffee Positive with a shot of espresso.

4.        I used to be a dog trainer, a clown, a pirate, a ninja, a renaissance faire performer, and shy, not particularly in that order.

5.        I’ve been writing a book since I was ten years old. I have yet to finish it. Maybe I’ll be able to with all my “down time” on the race. (HAHAHAHAHAHA LOL!!! WHEW that was a good joke!)

6.        I learned how to draw by copying sketches of Wolverine comics.  I used to want to marry him. (Most days I still do.)

7.        “Oh, Gravity, why can’t we, seem to keep it together?”

8.        I would always rather go see an action movie than a romantic comedy…. For some strange reason I’m still single.

9.        I love to play videogames. From Halo to Final Fantasy to Lego Star Wars. . . pick one.

10.    All of the bracelets I wear represent people to me. I wear them until they fall off.

11.    I have some form of paint or marker on about 85% of my clothes.

12.    I am an EPIC failure at math. Like, having to do all this math for my donations freaks me out.

13.    One question, do you like it Spicy?

14.    I’m from Narnia. Don’t tell anyone.

15.    If I were in a fantasy novel, I wouldn’t be the damsel in distress; rather, I’d rather steal the armor from the knight and go slay the dragon myself. I “heart” swords.
16.    A Random Joke for you: “Why does Snoop Dogg carry an umbrella? Answer: “Fo Drizzle.”

Ok
I’m done. Well, for now.
Maybe I’ll add more in a different blog?

Can’t wait
until I meet my team.
Peace and
Blessings to all! Later!
