It’s true.
My teammates have become my friends. More than that, they are my FAMILY for this year. These last two months, I have come to learn, love, and even like them. They have supported me when I cried, prayed for me when I was down, encouraged me and lifted me up when I felt forgotten.
If it wasn’t for these amazing people, I don’t know how I would have gotten along this far, let alone the nine months to remain.
I believe that the divine providence of God is to thank. He has set us together, called us by name, formed our team from the foundation of the World. He set us in this year, these places, this time in our lives and brought us together. Psalm 68:6 says “He sets the solitary in families”, and that is what we are this year, a family.
So I am writing to you today to let you know that two of my family members need help raising their support. I have mentioned them before, and since then, God has exceedingly abundantly given to their accounts. However, they are still behind the rest of us, and therefore, as their sister, I am asking for you to help us.
Carrie and Stephanie need your help to raise their funds. . . if you have supported me, then I ask you to prayerfully consider helping them. I can’t do this year without them, especially after getting to know them and their hearts.
If you click on their pictures, you’ll be taken to their support page, where you can make a donation of any amount. Seriously, $5 would do. If all of my friends donated a handfull of change to them, they could be funded in less than a month.
The world race has yet to send anyone home because they haven’t raised all of their funds. Please don’t let my teammates be the first to have to face that. I want them to be able to serve God without the financial burden looming.
Thank you so much for being willing to help. If you know of anyone who may be willing to give, please share this blog with them.
All of my love!!
