so this will be a quick blog post, because my partner in crime, fellow O squad Mate Alissa Rich (Visit Her Blog HERE) http://www.alissarich.theworldrace.org wants to go get coffee before too long.
Anyway, Alissa and I traversed New York City yesterday, and I think that we crammed about a week of sightseeing into 7 hours. I’ve had dreams of New York, like literal dreams, about walking around and driving around the city. We ate Pizza, Dumplings, A new york hot dog, more pizza. . .
We went to Times square, took the Staten Island Ferry, Little Italy, Chinatown, walked about 3450987289 miles and ended up in Rockefeller Center. Then we attempted to take the subway back to the hotel, and after missing our stop about 5 times, we FINALLY found the right train.
Wow. Overall, a fun filled way to start the day. Perhaps one of the highlights of the day, was witnessing to a Jehovah’s Witness. We had a pretty intense conversation, which ended up in her telling Alissa “I can’t talk to you anymore. I hope you find the truth.”
Whenever anyone rejects the truth of the Gospel, it’s kind of sad, but I’m sure it is just a glimpse of what might be in store for us as we try to bring some light into a dark world.
Please pray for me, as we are traveling to the Ukraine today. Also, my knees have been REALLY sore lately, and I think it might be because i’m overworking them a little. I’ve been walking alot, and it hurts to do so already, and I haven’t even LEFT the country.
I miss all of you already, and I pray that this year is fantastic for you. This is the year of the Lord’s Favor!! Declare it to the Nations!!
