So here we are in month 2 of the world race, We are just outside of Nsoko, Swaziland in a small rural area where you can see for miles and mountains drape the horizon. Swaziland is a beautiful country, the people are even more beautiful. The swazi people are very friendly and welcoming.

Our team is with one other team this month. Both of our team’s are staying at the anchor center, its like the main hub for our ministry this month. Were partnering with the missionaries on the ground. We’ll be doing a lot of different things for them and their staff. I have cut grass and did some house visits thus far and have had a good amount of down time as well. The balance is nice to have, it teaches me to be still before the Lord.

Personally I am doing really good, The Lord is doing so much work in me. I’m staying healthy and eating and sleeping well. There are days though when I really miss home and all my friends and family.

I have a quick story, One night after I was done working out I stepped outside to cool off and to look up and gaze at the stars. I have never seen the stars so clearly in my life. It looked like a trillion diamonds in the sky shouting and proclaiming God’s glory. In that moment I was in awe of the maker of the heaven’s and earth and the vastness of His creation. The sky was so clear you could see the outline of the milky way galaxy. Psalm 19:1 sprung from my heart. The heavens declare the glory of God and the sky above proclaims His handiwork.

After admiring God’s unbelievable creation, I seen two swazi men sitting near me without realizing it. After making small talk, one of the men told me he was a pastor of a church. The Lord told me to lay my hands on them and bless them with prayer. Afterwards he told me earlier that he had a prayer meeting for his congregation and that he had felt discouraged because nobody prayed over him. Its a great reminder that prayer encourages everybody and nobody will deny your prayers. I was honored to stand in the gap to be there and hear God’s voice to encourage and uplift a brother and fellow laborer in The Lord.
