I lay here as sleep seems to elude me once again, I can tell you it’s one of the most frustrating things in the world to be wide awake and all you want to do is sleep but you can’t.  Right now it’s 2 a.m. and I am laying here thinking about my time in South East Asia and how it’s been a blur. It feels as if it was just yesterday I was boarding a plane to Africa to start The World Race, that was 9 months ago!!! And now our time in South East Asia is ending.
You may ask me, how would I break down South East Asia in my own heart and mind. What I would say is this. It’s Hot and wet, the food and culture are incredible and for the most part the people are sweet and amazing.
But in the South East Asian countries I’ve lived in, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, and Malaysia there is also an oppression and spiritual darkness that I have never experienced in my life. The number of lost souls is staggering, and the body of Christ is their only hope. I am going to talk about something in this blog that is a passion of my heart and my walk with Christ………Something that The Lord has birthed in me not long after I was saved and born again in 2008. What is that something???
EVANGELISM!!!
I’m going to start off with a very bold statement that is completely biblical, What happens to those people who die without Christ??? People who die without Jesus are forever separated from God and will be punished for their sins for eternity. The unsaved dead go to a terrible place called “hell”  Hell was not created for us. God made hell for the devil and the fallen angels and not for us who are created in Gods Image. Scripture is clear that God is not willing that anybody would perish and spend eternity in Hell.
2 Peter 3:9
The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance.
I am not ok with the thought of people passing into eternity with out Christ, and you shouldn’t either!!! As a matter of fact I don’t understand how someone can be a born again blood bought Christian and not have a burden for the lost. It will never make sense to me. Every Christian is called to evangelism. It doesn’t matter if your in South East Asia, the bush in Africa or in a corporate office in The United States of America. Wherever you are, God has placed you there to seek and save the lost.
Some of you may say, You have to love people………….well as christians, the most loving thing you can do is share the gospel with a lost person. The good news of salvation through Jesus Christ. Not sharing your faith with the lost is like having a cure for a deadly disease and keeping it from people. Now let me ask you, is that loving??? I don’t think so!!! There’s a deadly disease out there and it’s called sin and we have the only cure, the gospel.
This year I have faced a lot of challenges with others not understanding my zeal for evangelism. Where does it come from and why is it that I am so passionate about this topic???
1.) God saved me from a broken life and an eternity separated from Him.
2.) God has anointed me as an evangelist, to preach the gospel anywhere and everywhere I go. It doesn’t matter weather I’m on the cross cultural mission field or I’m home in Dallas, TX. I can’t stay quiet and passive about Jesus.
3.) God will reward those with eternal rewards who go into all the world and preach the gospel.
I want to encourage you, if you are a follower of Christ and have never shared the gospel with anyone I don’t want you to think you are condemned or that God loves you any less. Because those who are in Christ there is no more condemnation. But It’s absolutely not ok to remain neutral and passive about this.
I want you to pray to God and ask Him what He would like you to do, and pray for boldness and a heart for the lost. Then start to take action and pray and seek out opportunities to share Christ with someone. Their eternal destiny is at stake and you may be their only hope.
Romans 1:16
For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.

Romans 10:13-15
For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!”
