Greek word 'agapetos' translated 'beloved'
This is what we named our team for the next year. I'd have to admit their was some frustration on my part when we were all put into our teams. Not because of who I was with on my team but instead more concerned about what they thought of me.
I felt like I was so much different than everyone else. My personality is different, were all different ages, I come from a different background and every other selfish reason I thought i wouldn't relate with any of them.
Before we even left training camp, my insecurities, pride, selfishness and satan tried to cause division in our team.
I have news for the enemy, you FAILED!!!! and Christ's love prevails!!!
Shortly after returning home from training camp during much thought and prayer God began speaking to me about my team. "Kirk, I've prepared you for such a time as this. This will be your family for the next year, You will need each other. I need you to do your part to look over them and protect them." I will be with your team but I need you to exercise your leadership and take care of them.
After my conversation with the Lord, joy welled up in my heart and God started giving me an unconditional love for those on my team and I decided to get on board with the Lord's plan rather than my own.
MEET MY NEW FAMILY !!!!!
