Hello, my name is Kirbie Head. I’m 22 years old and I live in Northeast Georgia. After my family and I went to Nicaragua for a week mission trip in 2014 I felt God was calling me to live my life differently than I had envisioned. I knew that I never wanted to be the kind of person that lived for God on Sunday and myself throughout the week. I needed Him more than I was ever willing to admit and I wanted to find some way to actively live for Him every day. Never in my life did I think that meant traveling the world and living in 11 different countries, but when God calls, you answer.

Throughout this journey there will be trials. I know myself, I’ll have doubts, feelings of being inferior, times where I will miss all the comforts of home, but this isn’t about me. None of it is. This life is about bring our God glory, every second of everyday wherever we are. I am deeply honored that He showed me this opportunity to witness His works in a completely different way.

I invite you all to experience this journey with me as God changes my life in a way I never expected. I ask for your prayers that God will let me love the unloved, touched the untouched, and let His light reach the darkest places in this world. Below is a song that inspired me to apply for the World Race, and will continue to throughout my life.

With graditute,

Kirbie Head, World Racer
