This week has been filled with the Holy Spirit during this time Monday- Friday my church and I we have been doing a liquid fast which is called “Fast Break” during this time I am seeking more of God’s word and listening for his voice and his direction. Every morning at six as a church body we have a prayer call, and we talk about our prayer focus for the day and the scriptures that we will be reading for the day. The last few days we have focused our eyes and our hearts on different prayer focuses which are “New Beginnings, New Breakthroughs, New Becoming’s and today the prayer focus is New Buildings and lastly tomorrow is New Blessings. His presence is here at first yes this was hard, and it has not made to be comfortable, but trusting and calling on his name has brought me great strength in my spirit. The times where I wanted to give up because I doubted myself and listened to my flesh, I knew that this was not God anytime where I lacked strength and faith, I called on his name and I prayed for God to extend his right hand to me at that moment I was not myself. God told me “Don’t give up on me” at this moment when I heard his voice, I felt him in the atmosphere suddenly my cravings, my doubts, my fear of failure went away. What I am trying to say to you all that you are not alone, you are never alone, open your heart to receive him. Times where you feel like giving up do not that is what the enemy wants, he wants you to take the easy way out, but God did not make our lives easy there is going to be discomfort, but the one person who loves you endlessly is here with you. God is not done with you.
