If there is one thing that I have been realizing about the whole World Race journey it would be this: plans change. I may think I have things all figured and planned out, but those may change. I am also learning that change isn’t necessarily a bad thing. Change can help me try and experience new things. Change can teach me to reach out to those around me. Change can stretch me and challenge me to ways that are for my own good and growth. Change makes me have to rely on God whole-heartedly.
Change happens all the time.
It is how I react to it that is often what makes the change be good or bad.
At training camp we were given news of change, a route change!!! Although it was kind of a weird feeling to think that for months I had planned to go to a certain 11 countries and each person I talked to I would share with them my excitement for those 11 countries. When I heard about the change, however, my heart was excited! I felt at peace that God had called me to the World Race for a reason and that it didn’t matter what 11 countries I would be going to, I was to share His love wherever I went.
Alright, enough preamble, here is the NEW country line up for my trip!!!
-South Africa
-Swaziland
-India
-Nepal
–THAILAND
-Vietnam
-Cambodia
-Ireland
-Romania
–TURKEY
–ALBANIA
So there you have it! I will now be travelling to and sharing the love of Jesus in Thailand, Turkey, and Albania!!! I get to celebrate Thanksgiving in Turkey and my birthday in Albania!!! EXCITING!!!
I am looking forward to being able to do whatever God needs us to do in each of theses countries. I think the experiences will be great, amazing, and life-changing.
