I would like to take this opportunity to introduce to you 6 wonderful ladies whom I already love so much. They are my beautiful teammates who I get to spend my World Race journey with on the field, day in and day out. If I had picked mine own team, I can honestly tell you I would not have put the 7 of us together, but thankfully God knew who would make a great team better than I and He decided to put us all together. I am honestly super excited to get to know these ladies more and to grow close to them. God has used each of them to bless me greatly already and I am looking forward to the countless blessings to come!

GLOBAL ROOTZ!

Global: 2 meanings: We represent 3 different countries (USA, Canada, Australia) and we are being sent on a global mission, to bring the gospel of Jesus Christ to the nations!
Rootz: again, 2 meanings: As followers of Christ, our roots are in Him and we are taking to the world to hopefully help root others in the love of Jesus!
Oh, and the “Z” at the end of Rootz, well, that was just because we could. 
Here is a closer look at each of my teammates!
Audra:
Audra is our team’s leader. I am excited to see how this position will allow her to grow and be stretched in her faith journey. She is strong and honest and has a strong faith in Jesus. By keeping Him as her leader, I know she will lead us well and be there for us when we need her. She is also lots of fun to be with and she enjoys the colour orange (2 thumbs up!). Oh, and she can dance too!
Julie:
Julie is one of the sweetest people I have ever met, and maybe will ever meet. She has a kind heart that shows in how she talks and interacts with others. Julie is in love with Jesus and her desire in life is to serve Him with all she is. She loves to sing and dance and have fun. She is a kid at heart which just makes her all the more great. This trip will be Julie’s first missions trip, just like it is mine, and I am super excited to be able to share in this journey with her.
Diane:
Diane is a bright, strong, and confident woman. She is open and honest which makes her wonderful to talk to. She has a great love for Jesus and life that bubbles out of her and just makes a person happy. She has a great sense of humour that I quite enjoy (fo sho!). I look forward to being able to continue to know her more and see her grow in her faith. Oh, and if you ever lose your luggage, this gal will make sure you are well cared for!
Meredith:
Meredith is such a kind person. She has a big heart for people and an even bigger heart for the Lord. She is an encourager and seems to be able to find the bright side of things. She loves to run and I hope that I can learn to love running more than I do now (which truly isn’t that much) so I can share in one of the things she enjoys doing.
Brittani:
Brittani is a ball of fun! This girl loves life, is athletic and enjoys a little competition. I love it! She has a smile that lights up a room and she is super sweet. Brittani has a beautiful heart for the Lord and I look forward to being able to journey along side her this next year. She is confident in her faith.
Anthea:
Anthea is the Australian member of our team, which makes her already great! Anthea has a bright personality which brings a smile to people’s faces. She is fun-filled and fun-loving. She also enjoys a good meal at any Chik-Fil-A! It is evident that Anthea loves Jesus and I know that many people will see Him through her and the work that He is doing in her.
Well there you have it, my awesome team of 6 unique ladies who all share one thing in common…

Please keep my team in your prayers as we each continue to prepare for our fast-approaching World Race journey with Jesus and each other. Prayer for unity of our team, safety in our travels, and a Christ-like love for each other and those we will be serving.
