Well, Julie told me to post something about my packing status & make it rather raw w/no “audience in mind”, if I understood that correctly. There is a lot on my mind & she thinks you guys care about some of the stuff on it. She thought this topic of packing might be an entertaining one (she laughs at me a lot) & a nice break from the heavy depressing stuff I usually write.
With 12 days left…I’m incredibly NOT ready. In some ways, kinda ready…but not really.
How do I know that? I was in the car driving up to Boone w/2 friends (Marcy & Seth) for the concert event & Seth & I were talking & it kind of went something like this:
Do you have a sleeping bag?
No
Do you have tent?
No
Do you have hiking boots?
No
Do you have a camelback?
No
Do you have a coat?
…At this time, I felt like I should inform him that I don’t have anything…but I think he got the picture b/c he started sharing some things he would be willing to give me. So, instead of making a list of all the things I don’t have, here is a list of the things I do have:
Pack
Sleeping pad
With June 28 coming up very soon, all I’m thinking is God will bring what He wants me to have & I’ll be just fine.

OK serious note: My car, which I was planning on selling this week, blew up on sat… so… yeah… PRAY FOR ME!
