Background –

Born & raised in NJ (short stay in Virginia) until I moved to Charlotte, NC going into my sophomore year of high school. I went to 3 different high schools & I lived in 6 different places before going to college in Boone, NC (Appalachian State University). I have a mom who can do just about anything, a dad who is a pharmacist, & an older brother (Bradley) who is an electrical engineer.

College Life –

This has been long, but oh so good! I went to community college (CPCC) & lived @ home my freshman year. Then I transferred to App for music (I thought God wanted me to be an Opera singer!) but instead majored in Philosophy & Religion, w/a minor in Art History. What will I do w/that? Lots of stuff! I have grown the most (spiritually) in my college years & have learned some really hard lessons, lost some friends & family along the way, but have been blessed with some amazing constant friendships, ministry experiences (Campus Crusade for Christ-I would love to work long-term w/them), & I have been given a church here (Alliance Christian Fellowship) when I am away from my home church (Christ Community Church, Huntersville). I guess now would be good time to mention I don’t actually live in Charlotte, but in Cornelius, which is right above Charlotte (Lake Norman).

Goal –

Well, I basically want to LIVE a JOYFUL life, abiding in Christ everyday, as a full-time vocational Christian worker; re-phrased, “a missionary”. I would love to go to seminary & be married (I told God no later than 30) & have lots of kids!

Interests –

I love laughing! I love smiles! I am interested in being challenged in every way possible & I love being pointed to the cross in any situation. I’m interested in skiing, snowboarding, sailing, singing, and piano, road-trips, holidays, ministry, snow, rain, fall in Boone, & the sound of seagulls squawking. I would love to live in EAsia for some time—I have a huge heart for those people & that food!

What God Has Taught Me –

Well, that’s impossible to answer briefly! I’ve seen how God brings me through seasons, some hard, some beautiful, some happy, some gloomy, but He always reminds me how constant He is, how loving He is, & how good He is despite the world around me. I learned He is faithful & even though there is a lot that I don’t understand right now, I have to trust Him, I want to trust Him, & know that in time, it will all make sense.

Presently –

Graduating in Dec., living w/a friend, home for a month, & then off to conquer the world!

Favorite Verse –

Prov. 4:23 & Isaish 40:31 & Ezra 10:4 & Esther 4:14 (like I could pick just one).
