Training camp is no joke. Pitch your tent, sleep in your tent, pack your tent, move your tent; rain, shine, humidity, no limit. So much has been crammed into these last 8 days I honestly can't even remember what we did yesterday, or what day it is today, 'is this even my house'??

setting up camp in TN, we were in this field for 2 days before we packed up and moved out.

My 'normal' this week was: waking up and going to sleep with a sticky pillow, blanket and body; smelling a combination of bug spray, BO, and sunscreen from all my fellow squad mates and myself; rejoicing with my new friends over pooping (I won't go into details); sharing a bathroom with 200 other girls and showering every 2-3 days; and consistently thanking God for giving me this opportunity.

Kathryn and Jess didn't know it but the 'airlines' were about to 'lose their luggage' for the night

The Lord never ceases to amaze me.  Just when I think I’ve got it all figured out He spins me into this beautiful whirlwind of Truth and Freedom.

My thoughts, if in short 8 days He can restore my soul and teach me new things, I can’t imagine what 11 months completely emerged will bring. I’m not only unbelievably excited about what the next year will look like, I’m 100% unwaveringly certain that I’m exactly where I need to be!
