God has perfect timing, never early and never late, and it will take a little patience and a lot of faith.

I wanted to update everyone on the status of my world race mission. With lots of prayer, good conversations, and a few bumps in the road, I know that I am to wait to leave until July 2015. As ready as I am to leave for this incredible opportunity, the Lord has put it on my heart to wait. There are many reasons why, but I’d say the biggest is, I have decided that I would like to be fully funded before taking off on this amazing adventure. I am so excited to see how the Lord uses this experience to challenge and strengthen me in every aspect and the last thing I want is any distractions to take away from this. When I am on the mission field I want to be completely dedicated to the work that I am doing and not having to worry about finances.

I have chosen a new route with just a few changes to the countries that I will go to. I will go to India, Nepal, Cambodia, Thailand, Malaysia, Botswanna, Swaziland, South Africa, Dominican Republic, Haiti and Jamaica.

There is a peace that has come with this decision to wait. It now means I have 6 additional months to prepare for the journey to come. As excited as I am for this opportunity, I can honestly say I can already feel the Lord working through me as I prepare. Fundraising ideas, personal bible studies, incredible conversations with people who have already done the race, are just of the few ways I can see the Lord guiding my footsteps. I ask that you continue to join me in prayer as I prepare for the World Race.

I will begin to blog more in the months to come and will continue as I embark on this incredible adventure. I will do some blogs about who I am as a daughter of the King, Bible verses that are currently on my heart, and so much more. I am also selling t-shirts and will post with more information about them. If you have any questions for me, please do not hesitate to message me.

God Bless & Thank you for taking the time to read this update about my World Race Mission.
