Dear my Beloved Daughter,
I know you have hope like an anchor. It’s sunken down deep in my love, but you are fighting to remove it and you don’t even recognize it. You jumped right back into this beautiful American life and that is not a bad thing. However, you coped by running around, busy-ing yourself, and started to reach for control anyway you could.
Stop my love.
Be still.
It’s okay to cry when you are around a bunch of new people and you feel overwhelmed. It’s okay to feel broken hearted that a drink at a Rockies game is two and a half days wages for someone else in the world. Be moved by it. And always remember, it’s ok to stop and be still. It is normal to feel numb. It’s normal to feel lost, confused, excited, and overwhelmed all at the same time. I’m inside you, leading and comforting you.
So don’t forget to pause and thank me. Remember what I did this year. You did nothing outside me, because everything good about you IS me. So give me glory and honor. But don’t stop there.
I gave you the gift of faith. Hold onto the promise that I am the same God whom you met this past year and I am the same God whom is here at home.
I’ve got you.
Let yourself sink deeper and deeper into me because I am not going anywhere.
I love you!
Abba
Since being home, it had been an interesting and hard transition. During the first few weeks, I spent time going through pictures and stories that I wanted to share with friends and family. I made a video that shows an overview of my World Race and highlights some stories. It is nothing fancy, but is filled with pictures, joy and descriptions of how God has been working all over the world! You can find a link to the video HERE. (FYI: It is about 15 minutes long so watch what you would like of it or find a nice time to cozy up to your computer and watch it all 🙂 )
Thank you so much for all your support and prayers. This has really been an incredible year, but I know this next one is going to get even better because of what the Lord has promised. Enjoy the video, feel free to share it and reach out to me if you have any further questions!
Love always,
Kimmy
