Hi, I’m Kimberly. Welcome to my blog!
I’m sure you’d like to know a little about me before getting into the good stuff, so here it is…
I was raised in a family of preachers, so I grew up in a Christian home with Christian values. However, it wasn’t until my mid-twenties that I truly began to understand who God is, and I’m still learning who I am in his eyes.
I’m the oldest of two children. I have a younger brother. We were best friends growing up, and he’s always there for me when I need him most.
From January of 2016 to January of 2017 I lived in Japan as a missionary. I was so blessed to be able to teach God’s love to sweet little Japanese preschoolers. I grew to love them, and leaving them was one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do, but God told me that he has things for me that he couldn’t give me in Japan. I truly believe the World Race is one of those things.
I’m artistic. I love photography especially. I mainly photograph beautiful scenery or creatures. I love drawing and watercolor painting as well. Also, at the beginning of this year, with God’s help, I taught myself how to play guitar and have been leading at small worship events at a couple local churches in my area.
God has been so incredibly wonderful to me. He has taken me on adventure after adventure, and the World Race is another chapter in this wonderful adventurous love story. I’m so excited to see how he will use me, and even more so how he will change me. Come join me on this incredible life changing journey!
