Well, my last day of work will prove to be a memorable one. I got to practice skipping the shower and getting dressed by flashlight.
For those of you who have no idea what I am referring to, western Washington had a major wind storm last night. I don’t know the official numbers, but the predicted 60mph sustained winds with 90mph gusts through the night.

I woke up at 1:30am and watched the trees outside my livingroom window, flexing back and forth like floppy noodles. It was intense.
My jaw was literally agape in awe. A wonderful display of the power of God’s creation.

Though we have no power at home, there did not appear to be any major damage in the immediate area. I will be anxious to see the news later to find out how others fared.

I got a wake up call around 7am from my boss, and there begins my last day of employment for this season of my life.
