We received the news last night that our team will once more be separated. Kelly is struggling with a lot of hard stuff and is under serious attacks from the enemy. AIM staff has decided to give her an opportunity to take advantage of the women of God here at Alabanza, to get some support and counseling. The plan is for her to stay here for two weeks, and them is she feels she is ready she will join us in Mozambique at that time.
We know there is a lot of witchcraft and heavy spiritual oppression in Mozambique, so we don’t want her to have to fight that while struggling through her own personal stuff as well. We are dissapointed that she will not be with us, and we will certainly miss her gifts. Kelly has great discernment and wisdom and is a strong intecessor. We are confident that God will gift us with what we need in her absense, and that she will be interceding for us from here at Alabanza. Altough it is a struggle, we have faith in God’s plan whether we understand it or not.
Along with this announcement, the enemy also tried to attack Mary. I believe there are still some wounds from the last announcement that she would be swithched to another program. Altough we know that it was never our desire for her to leave the team, the devil is trying to tell her that she is less valued on the team. Praise God that he gave her the courage recognize and speak out the lies within our group. Although the enemy was trying to us this to divide us, it gave us the opportunity to stand and fight the lies with our sister and pray over her.
We still need to stand together as a team, pray together as a team, and support and encourage eachother whether we are together or apart. God teach us how to do this better, and strengthen the bonds of unity among us.
I would like to ask all of you at home that are praying to step it up a little as well. If you can, commit an hour a day to pray four our team as a whole and each member individually. Also pray for Mozambique and Iris Ministries. Pray that God’s will is done and that the Kingdom of Heaven is brought to earth in Africa. Pray that it will no longer be known as “The Dark Continent”, but that it will be know as a light unto the world.
I pray that God will supernaturally inform you of our needs. Listen for Him to speak. He knows our needs even better than we do. I can’t wait to share all of the amazing things He is going to do there.
We will not have regular access to internet, so I most likely won’t be posting much. There may be general updates posted on our blogs by the media team if we are unable to do it ourselves. I bless all of you in the name of Jesus, who conquered the devil and gives us authority over him.
