It did not take us long to descide what to do for our last week in Africa. We all felt a strong desire for a little more adventure after three weeks of scheduled and organized kids camps. The camps were a great ministry, and we all had a great time teaching and loving the kids. I am glad we came here, but my spirit is in need of a little more spontineity and freedom. It’s time to stretch the wings a little and fly wherever the Lord leads us.

Our very general plan is to rent a car and travel down the coast and them back up through the “garden route” to return to Alabanza in time for debrief. We have a very general plan to preach in little towns as we go, but we are really open to whatever doors the Lord opens along the way.

With the collapse in Zimbabwe, I am hoping we will be able to minister to some of the refugees near the border. I don’t know how viable that is, but we will see what we find. We really just want the Lord to lead us where He will.

You can pray for open doors and opportunities, as well as free or really cheap food and lodging along the way. We are taking three tents, but with the cold wheather we are having here we are really hoping not to have to use them.

You can also pray for saftey as we travel, especially as I will likely be one of the drivers. I have never drivin on the left side of the road, or shifted with my left hand. Praise God the peddles are in the same place, or I would be in trouble. I think it will be hard enough to remember that the signals are on the right, and to turn into the correct lane when pulling out of a driveway or turning at an inersection. Pray for supernastural awareness and direction.

I am really looking forward to this time with my team. I think we really need it a lot after yet another change to our family.
