Mozambique has been awesome, but also challenging. God has been teaching me a lot about grace and patience. Even the ride here, crammed in the back of a flatbed truck, taught me a lot about grace and choosing joy in suffering.

Right now, we are in Quelimane for the second time in three days. We had to make the 3hr drive here to get money on Saturday. Three ATM cards got eaten by the machines and the bank was closed. We also had to get parts for the trucks because both of them were broken down. Praise God he got the Land Rover working enough to get us to town. We did not find the correct parts that we needed, and with the ATM cards missing, we had no choice but to make the drive back here again today (Monday) to retrieve them.

There is only one internet place in this whole city, so we have been waiting and waiting to get a chance to check in. In all honesty, with less than a half hour to check mail and post, my mind is a bit scattered. I can’t really compose my thoughts right now, so I will have to post again later when I am more prepared.

What I can say is that God is moving in awesome ways here. We have delivered food to the hungry flood refugees. We have played with and clothed the orphans, and healed the blind and deaf. We are learning a lot about the power of the Holy Spirit to heal, and how to seek more from Him. I am learning that this full life that our God offers us, is sooooo much bigger than I can even fathom. My mind is stretched every day, and I love it. I want more, and I know that my God desires to give it to me.

We all need to constantly seek more. We don’t know what we are missing; none of us do. Only God knows the fullness of His Kingdom, but He wants to share it with those who are willing to seek it. All we have to do is ask for more and then hold on for the ride of your life.
