During or little exploration of Bangkok, we stopped at the Siam Center. It is four malls connected together to form a rediculously large shopping plaza. It even has an aquarium in the basement. We were going to go, but it was too expensive for our missionary budgets.

We did find something that God must have built just for us. On the third floor of one of the malls, there is a restaurant called Chocholic. Well, if you know me, you know that is exactly what I am. And Mallorie fits the description pretty well too. The brochure explained that you can find chocolate in every course on their menu. We simply could not pass up this experience.

I started off with a nice lunch of chocolate infused rice with roasted chicken and onion gravy. The rice definately looked chocolately, and you could taste it just enough to identify that it was chocolate. It was not sweet, but rather the deep rich taste of a good cocoa. I was a little skeptical about how it would tast with the chiken and onion, but it was really quite good.

Of course, we could not pass up the dessert menu. I had a nice chocolate monkey shake. It was more of a frappe than a shake, but it was fabulous. It was like a good rich chocolate milk with a hint of bannana flavor mixed with finely crushed ice to form a good thick, barely able to suck it up the straw, cold beverage.

I could not have been more pleased. What a great concept.
