In just two weeks I will be in the Dominican Republic. Many people have asked if I am ready and I’d like to say I am. I still need to pack and repack to see what can fit and what can’t. Plus I still have a few details that need to be tied up, but I’m feeling really good about everything. Christmas is just a couple days away and I am excited about spending time with my family. I am so blessed to have a family that supports me and will come together to pray for me and my team all along the way.
For all of you who have supported me financially, thank you so much. It is down to the wire and there are many people on my squad and even on my team that are still in desperate need for funds to come in. Please pray for them. It is such a stressful time getting everything ready, but when you add fundraising on top of it, with Holiday stress…well, I can only imagine! To be able to leave in January we need $8280 in our account and the rest in pledges. Right now I have $8285 in my account and $4970 in pledges. All that leaves is $545 to reach the $13,800 that we need to go on the trip. After we have reached the goal of what we need to be able to go we can still raise more support to pay for the insurance, vaccinations, and transportation to and from training camp and our launch destination that we have paid ourselves. The total for those things is around $1100. Please pray for the last amount to come in! God is such a big God and He has amazed me in so many ways as I have been fundraising.
