Who can compare to God and His love for us? I sit here half way through training camp and I can not believe the amazing and wonderful things God is doing in me and in the fabulous group of teammates that I have. Stories and testimonies have been radiating through the group non-stop since arriving at camp! God is breaking us and making us into one unified group. We have been poured into from a staff of loving past world racers…that’s right, people who have been where we are and where we are going, are training us:) Not only that, but we have met the coaches who will be loving us, praying for us and feeding into us the entire year we are gone. In just a matter of a couple of days they have already become our “mom and dad” and we are their “children.” Right now we are in the middle of splitting up into our teams of 5-7 people. Please pray for the staff as they have an amazingly tough job of putting the right people together. Also pray for my teammates and I, that we will have discernment to tell the staff if we do not feel that we are a fit with the team we have been placed in. Pray for safety for us the rest of the time we are here. Pray that we will be unified and that what is happening here right now, will continue when we come home all the way throughout the race.
