The deep hope of all is that we will be significant in this life, that what we do will make a difference in the lives of the world around us. I pray that this longing catapults you to making a difference in the lives of the people that God has placed in your life. God has specifically placed you where you need to be to reach those who your life touches.
Has there ever been a longing deep in your heart, though, to do more? You have seen the images over and over again on TV and the internet that shows billions of people in desperate need. Those who live in poverty, those who are trapped by injustice, and those who are starving for just a glimpse of the hope that we have in Jesus Christ.
Let me be your connection to our hurting world. Over the past two years I have seen with my own eyes the destruction that sin has caused this world. Through that my desire to impact the world has grown to new levels I have never known. God has put me in a position to reach every part of the world.
I will be working at the headquarters of Adventures in Missions starting in one week. I will be helping hundreds of young adults go out to the world. This is where I will be until the squad that I led come home from thier 11 month journey. It will be exciting to watch, from the beginning, the enormous ride that God has in store for a generation that is awakening more and more to the call of living Kingdom life!
By partnering with me you will be playing your part in reaching the world even though you might not be able to go yourself. To do this work that God has called me to there are some specific needs that I have.
First, while I work at AIM in Georgia, I will need to raise $10,000 financial support for the year. That amount will be matched by AIM for cost of living. Click here to either give a one time gift or monthly donations. I would love to have monthly supporters that gave anywhere from $10-$100 a month.
Second, I would love for those of you who do not already read and comment on my blogs to do that. It is such a great encouragement to me to hear what you think of my ramblings!
The third and final thing I need (the most) is your prayer support. I will try to be consistent in sending out blogs with prayer requests and updating you in a monthly newsletter.
