My heart is broken from leaving Azua. The friendship I have made and the people I have met overwhelm me with emotions.
I loved my time and experiences there. But the time has come that I
must move on. When we arrived in San Juan we were able to share stories
with the rest of the squad. We laughed and cried and were able to share
our emotions with one another.

Yesterday my team and I prayed that God would complete the work that
has been started there. It is in His hands now and He will finish what
He has started.

I can´t wait to hear of the stories of what is doing in their lives in
the future. With all of my heart I long to return some day.
some of us were scared about entering into such a dangerous country.
But the Lord has reassured us that He will take care of us. He will do
mighty things in this country and we look forward to being part of what
he is doing. We will be in a city called Gonaives and will be doing
hurricane relief. We will be sleeping in tents and boiling our own
water. They said to expect the worst. It will be a completely different
experiences than last month. I can´t wait to see how God will stretch
us this month! Because of the devastation we are expecting to not have
any internet communication for the next three weeks. When we return to
Santo Domingo at the end of the month I will update you on all of the
wonderful things God is doing and has done! Please pray for us! There
will be a lot of spiritual warfare and God is the only one we can lean
on for protection! We will need to be right with God and our team daily
so that the evil one does not take a foothold! I know it will be hard
work, but God works difficulties into joy! I love you all!
