I have been slowly going through all my stuff in the past week as I get ready to move to Gainesville. It is so much easier to get rid of the stuff in my life since going around the world. I have lost many of the attachments that I used to have to my possessions.

Then today I found a storage box and when I opened it I found things I just couldn’t part with. I began to unfold tiny pieces of paper that had scribbles all over them…words of encouragement, letters, and notes that were from my time on the race. Things written from teammates, squad mates, and people from around the world. These things are more precious to me than most of my stuff. I cling to these little reminders.

I have been home from the race for just over a year. The year has flown by! I can’t believe that I have already gone back out on the race AGAIN as a squad leader. I knew it was something I wanted to do. Yet, if you would have told me a year ago this is what my year would look like, I would have laughed.

I can’t wait to see what God has in store for me this upcoming year! I know that it will be full of adventures, hearing His voice and following his lead. Keep me in your prayers. I have a really busy three weeks ahead of me, followed by moving!
