I woke up really energized this morning so I was up pretty early. When Kim woke up she rolled over and fumbled through her stuff and finally got her camera…I had no idea what she was doing! Then she showed me a video that she had taken the day before of everyone saying happy birthday to me! I was pumped! I taught English in the morning and the kids were really good and everyone who knew that it was my birthday kept telling me ¡felicidades! It just makes me smile! Lunch was late for Noah and Cathy so we hung out at Raul’s house until they were done and then we went to get ice cream. My team got me gifts for my birthday…yay! I got a bar of soap with Happy Birthday carved into it, a key chain to hold my jump drive that I keep misplacing, Hersey Kisses, and a set of mini dominoes…not for Mexican Train but I can play the way they play down here and another game called 42! I loved every gift. When we got back we went up to teach sports, but the older kids were already there and I just got to sit on the sidelines and hang out with the younger kids…which I call my fan club because they attack me everytime they see me…it makes me happy! Gentle Warriors took the lead for teaching English that evening, then we headed off for our cell groups. Kim was able to go over Romans 5 12-31 and gave a gospel presentation. When she was done Eleasar expounded on her teaching even more and then asked if anyone wanted to accept Christ…2 men did! In another cell group one of the boys accepted Christ! Three people were added to God’s kingdom on my birthday…what an amazing birthday gift from God! The total this week of people who have accepted Christ is four…God is working here, pray for the people who have accepted Christ that they will get connected! After dinner we walked down to Raul’s and when we got there one of the boys from the youth leadership gave me a bracelet for my birthday…it made me happy that we have connected with them so much in only one week…I can’t wait for this next week! We ate chocolate no bake cookies that were absolutely amazing and had a mini dance party before going home…It was an amazing birthday!
