Sitting on the lakes edge each morning, watching and hearing the wildlife all around me while saying good morning to God is how I start my mornings in Mozambique. The beauty is refreshing and the cool breeze awakens my soul. We are in the bush, but we have some modern conveniences. We have flushing toilets, a washing machine, real showers, filtered water from the lake, and some appliances to cook with. These are the things we have appreciated and enjoyed. But on Monday everything will change again. We have been living with Jaco and his family and helping out with some repairs around the house, but he is taking the four teams the are working together to a village about 200 kilometers away for 9 days. It’s one of the least reached villages that Jaco has worked with. There is no ministry set in place. We are just to go and help where it is needed. Jaco wants us to use what we are passionate about, so for me that means I’m going to be playing with kids for that time! It’s going to be more primitive than where we are. We are still going to be in tents, but we don’t really know what to expect for anything else. Most of us are really excited…I’m really excited!

In the morning, O Lord, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait in expectation. Psalm 5:3
