I went to a wedding tonight.
It was beautiful and fun, just like the couple getting married.

For me, the best part of the night was when they had the father daughter dance.
Of course, that is a favorite of mine.
Daddy, I can’t wait for our dance!

But tonight, after the bride and her father had danced they invited all the dads and daughters to come up to dance.
One man took his newborn baby out on the dance floor.
He held her tightly in his arms and twirled around with her.
He pretended to spin her, then dipped her down and kissed her forehead.
It was adorable.

The thing that caught my eye was at one point when he was spinning with her.
Her head was leaned back just enough where I could see her just gazing up into his eyes.
She had full trust in his loving arms around her and she wouldn’t take her eyes off him.

What a sweet picture of God’s embrace around us.
What a great reminder to lovingly have our eyes locked on Him.
We can trust Him, as He adoringly dances with us.
