There are so many nations in this world that struggle with generational
curses. The third and forth generations are passing down lies, hatred,
and death. They know no difference because they are following the
example of what they have been taught.
Maybe you have lived a life that was influenced by those who are
releasing curses over you. Maybe those curses and lies that have been
spoken have had a direct influence on your children and on those who you
surround. Maybe you are not living your life in the fullness of the
truth of God. Maybe your life is not fully showing the example of
Christ.
Thank
God that He has given us a way out of the curse that has been placed on
our lives. Adam released the curse into this world, but Jesus, the
second Adam, came that the curse would be abolished.
Christ came so that we would have freedom. Freedom from the curse of sin
and from the curses of the lies and death that the world and the enemy
speak over our lives every day. When we turn to him for truth and have a
relationship with the God who spoke Good things into existence, He will
break off the things that hinder us from living fully abandoned to Him.
All the baggage that we are walking around with can be laid at the feet
of the God who carries all our burdens. When this happens we no longer
are bound by the curse that is on us. And not only that, but it releases
us to walk in the generational blessings that God intends for us. The
influence that you have on others will be life instead of death.
Yesterday I talked about how I have heard so many stories of
participants who have received death from the influences that they grew
up with. But there is another side to the curse.
The participants who grow up in homes of families who seek after God,
who hear His voice, who love Him and pour out His love to each other are
significantly different. Don’t get me wrong, these participants have
there own baggage that they have to sort through and deal with. But they
live in a family who is passing down blessings.
You can have a family that passes generational blessings instead of
curses. You can live a life of influencing the truth of God in others
rather than the lies of the enemy. You can live in the abundance of the
blessing.
