Can you imagine it, 28 hours of continuous worship to our one true, holy God?!?!? I am in utter amazement that I am here! It is almost 4am as I sit here and write this. The night of worship started at 8pm and will continue until tomorrow night at midnight. Burn 24/7 Berlin has at least one Burn night a month. This month there are two because of Halloween. Fourteen teams of worshipers have been given blocks of two hours to praise and worship God. The worship leaders styles vary as do the songs and themes of each two hour block. There have been times that only a few people are here (especially right now, in the middle of the night!) to filling up the room. The styles of worshipers vary as well, intercessory prayers constantly uttered from lips, kneeling in surrender, shouts of praise, arms raised high, writing, drawing, reading scripture, prophecy and encouragement, singing and dancing and I’m sure there’s more to come. It’s all quite extraordinary and I can’t believe that God has blessed me with this experience. I’ll let you know more about the Burn as soon as it’s done! Pray for us here in Berlin as we praise God and fill this city with worship!
