I have not updated anyone on what I have been up to in over 4 months! Sorry! So here is a brief synopsis of the past four months of my life…

May: May was the last month of the race for the P Squad. I was able to join them for the epic last week of their journey. It was an exciting time of hearing what God had done in the last three months of their race, what they were walking into next and hugs and see ya laters! We spent the time on Pangkor Island in Malaysia! It was beautiful! Good food, good company and a time to relax!

June: I’m glad I had the time at the end of May to relax because when I returned to work that’s really all I did for the next month. My days were full of sitting behind my computer, emails, phone calls, last minute everything in preparation for Z, A and B Squads training camp.

July: It was a hectic month. The first week was the culmination of months of preparation.  We had World Race training camp in Tennessee. It was full of ups and downs, worship and teaching, laughter and tears. Needless to say, it was a great week! Then I went back to Gainesville for a week to tie up some loose ends before taking a week to go to Indiana. I spent time with family and friends and went to the wedding of a good friend of mine. The last week of July was spent moving from one house into another. My roommates from the first house I was living in were moving in different directions, so I have moved into a new house with three other roommates and a spare room that seems to be occupied quite often by people transitioning into Gainesville.

August: Work has been good and a much slower pace. It has been good to be a part of the process of refining how the Admissions work at AIM gets done. My participants have been busy getting everything prepared so that they can embark on their 11 month journey! In just a few days the two September Squads that I have been mobilizing will be in Gainesville for the launch of their World Race. It has been exciting to see how God has brought in the funds for the participants, some at the very last minute. Stories have piled up in the last couple of weeks with deadlines looming! God is a provider!

Since I have been MIA on writing blogs lately, I feel like I need a new jump start. So I am planning on writing a blog everyday until the end of this month. Let’s see if I can do this:)
