Let’s just say I wasn’t quite prepared for training camp. While everyone showed up with their backpacking back packs and day packs and individual tents, Michelle and I rolled up with a regular back pack, no day pack and a family tent (Thanks Michelle!). Needless to say, we stuck out like a sore thumb… at least I think we did. I mean, we were those people with the huge tent in the middle of the field…
Training camp was, in 1 long run on sentence, loosing luggage to a hypothetical plane, eating family style most often with your fingers, crossing the Cambodia/Thailand border, going through the market, freezing every night in my sleeping bag, bonfires and hearing from God like I never have before… I will drown in the river of His Love!
Here is one thing I did learn… I am good enough
I don’t speak in tongues, or have the gift of prophesy… but I am good enough and my God is bigger than my doubt or insecurity. It’s not about me but about Him and his power and what He can do and the work that he can do through me.
Our Team name is All Out…
“Everything to Him, everything for him”
I am ready to go “All Out” for God. Be his hands and feet, spread his love, live on fire, have no regrets, surrender, relentlessly pursuit and just “go” and “do”.
I’ll spend the next year walking the world and serving Jesus with these guys. I couldn’t have asked for a better team, these guys are GREAT! =)
