South African Mornings
Mornings are peaceful, when the sun comes up before the people do. Here in Cape Town, it is beautiful watching the sun come up over the mountains. Just don’t run into a baboon!
God is teaching me a lot already, about him and myself. He wants my identity to be found purely in Him. He is the healer and redeemer of my heart, and should be the center of all my thoughts and actions. I am striving to take every thought captive and speak only words of life and truth. This isn’t something that is learned overnight but He is helping me.
“The eye is the lamp of the body. So, if your eye is healthy, your whole body will be full of light, but if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light in you is darkness, how great is the darkness! (ESV) Matt 6:22,23

Every morning we ride in the car, on the ‘wrong’ side of the road, down the mountain to the school. Then the ocean bay peeks in view. It is so beautiful. I could totes live here and never get tired of that view. The bay with the mist off in the distance then the faint view of the mountains…photos just don’t do it justice. God really went out of his way for thus place. Its simply astonishing.
