Like I said in the previous blog, we’re in Honduras and we’re living at a ministry called Zion’s Gate, which takes in street kids, a lot who are addicted to drugs (mostly paint thinner), and loves on the kids, gives them a place to stay and food to eat, and teaches them about Jesus. Even though it’s called Zion’s Gate, there is no gate keeping them in and they know they can leave whenever they like. The boys stay at the ministry because they truly want a different life than what they had on the streets. So this month we have the opportunity to live on the property and love on them, and also go out to other ministries and serve during the week.

This month my team will be working with the Heart of Christ ministry in Talanga, Honduras. The Heart of Christ works with young girls who have been raped and their babies. They also take in children that nobody else wants. We’re also working at the hospital in Tegucigalpa, praying for the people there that want prayer, doing house visits, and going to an abandoned yellow building and spending time with the teenagers that hang out there. Our first week is at the Heart of Christ in Talanga, and I can’t wait to share more about this ministry.
