This last leg of our “Amazing Adventure” has been quite AMAZING!! You know the saying “Out of my box?” I cannot even remember what my BOX was! I have always sort of been on the outrageous side, but this is is getting crazy. I never would have imagined myself being okay with going to the bathroom in a whole in the ground. I was scared to death to try that…at least there was privacy. Once I mastered that, I thought I was a new woman and could handle almost anything. UNTIL, our 19hour bus ride yesterday where we had to go to the bathroom outside in 10 degree weather. I was on the side of the road with a flashlight attatched to my head, using the bathroom. NOW, I can handle anything that comes my way!! BRING IT ON!!!
One thing that I have not mastered and WILL NEVER (by choice) is eating the food in all these places. I have lived on crackers and Ramen Noodles. I am perfectly content with that!! I know that when we get to big cities and I go out with my Red Team friends…we will find good ole’ American food. We got to go to KFC the day before yesterday.
I will never take toilets or good food for granted EVER AGAIN!!!!
