May 30th!!! What a day. Not very many people can say that they celebrated their 26th birthday in ROME!!! Thanks to my parents, we (Jessica, Sarah, and I) stayed the night in a nice hotel. My 25th year ended with a warm jacuzzi bubble bath and my 26th year began with me waking up to the girls throwing rose petals on me and all over my bed and singing Happy Birthday. We then enjoyed the BREAKFAST BUFFET. You would think that it does not get much better than this. Well….it does. We toured ROME all day. We rode on the double decker bus around town visiting all the major points of interest. The girls treated me to dinner at an Italian cafe where I had the best calzone!!! Next, (you are never going to believe this) we went to an OPERA!!! We went back to the hotel and got all dressed up and went to the grand opening opera at TEATRO DELL OPERA DI ROMA.
The night has now come to an end and I just wanted to update everyone on my whereabouts and thank each and everyone of you for being a part of my life. I look forward to sharing many more years and adventures with you!!
