Race for the World 5k Run/Walk
Date: Saturday, April 30, 2011. Check-in starting at 8:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. Race shotgun starting at 9:30.
Location:
Menomonie, WI. Race starting at Menomonie High School. Parking available in the High School Main Lot, as well as in the Fieldhouse Lot. Race will start/end on the grass-area between the two lots. View the attached “Route” link at the bottom to view the race route.
Participants:
UW-Stout students, faculty/staff, and Menomonie area community members.
Objectives:
To benefit “The World Race” mission trip, and provide an opportunity to exercise for a purpose. All proceeds will go towards “The World Race” mission trip.
Registration:
Register by e-mailing your name, age, and t-shirt size to [email protected]. Pay the day of.
- Entry Fee: $25.00 (Remember, this is a “benefit run” 🙂 Proceeds go toward a GREAT cause!) Pay the day of.
- Timed Race
- Post-Race Snacks
- Prize for 1st place in age/gender divisions
- T-Shirt included with pre-registered participants
- Open registration race morning (t-shirt not guaranteed.)
- Kids 12 and under run/walk for free with an adult
