today is a sad day…we have to say good-bye to this place and to our friends that we have made here. though it is a sad day, it has been a great “good-bye” day.
as we were standing there, we met a new friend that invited us to go to his house for lunch, so we agreed.
first we went to the preschool and it didn’t take but a few seconds to fall in love with these kids. they were so precious. they stood in unison and told us hello, their names, asked our names, and sand happy birthday to us…all in english. it was too cute.

then we went to the all girls school. this is a school that is associated with the mosque where the girls get to go. the girls that go to this school are very poor, so the money from the boys school allows the girls to be able to live there and get a “free’ education.

since this was our third visit to this particular mosque, i have to admit we were a bit bored after they had repeated the same things to us about 4 or 5 times and we began looking at the same “beautiful sites”…so…we decided to make the most of it and have fun by taking a few random pictures…

after all of our random fun, we did get to go have a “good-bye” bowl of noodles with our new friends. though i have loved the noodles while we have been in china, i have to admit…i am not going to be too sad in leaving these behind.

tonight jess and i are having one last “all girls” party…it should be alot of fun. we are giving away ALL of our winter clothes to the girls that we have made friends with. while we are having fun doing this, friske laura and paul will be going to give one last “free talk” at the school. hahaha (these have become very humorous to us.)
in the morning at 10 we will have a crowd of chinese people waiting for us outside our hotel to see us off, so this should be a fun sight…we will be sure to take pictures.
we really are sad to leave this place. we thought we were leaving once already and the Lord had other things in store, now that we know we are leaving for good we are sad, but we know the seeds that we have planted here, the light this place has seen through us, and the friends that we have made will all stay and the Lord will take those things and use them for His glory…and one day we are going to read about the “walls” tumbling down and revival breaking out in this area…i just know it…Praise God!!!!!
Therefore be patient, brethren, until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, waiting patiently for it until it receives the early and latter rain. You also be patient. Establish your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is at hand.
