Today we went and ministered in another village. Paul, Jessica, and I went with Gwenia a lady from the church where we are staying (that spoke ZERO English). As we went ministering door to door we were able to use our discernment to interpret and know what was going on and being said in each house. It was an Amazing day.

We went to one house and there was a man outside so Gwenia started talking to him. Their conversation went on for about 30 minutes (while us dumb Americans had no idea what was going on). While we were standing there I felt the Holy Spirit strongly put on my heart to break any curses and the evil that the enemy is putting on his house. As Gwenia and the man continue to talk, he invited us inside to pray for his family. As we prayed Jessica and I laid hands on an older lady (his mom) who was having back problems. After we prayed she told Gwenia that as we were praying she could feel heat on her back!!!! Praise God.

Another house we went to Paul and I laid hands on an elderly lady with back problems. She said while we were praying that she felt heat on her back!!! As Paul prayed for her husband, he said the same thing! God is so Amazing!!!!

We ran into the group that Cory (our interpreter was with) and Gwenia told him that the house we went to with the man standing outside that he was wanting the demons to leave him alone and curses to be broken. That reaffirmed to me that the Holy Spirit was definitely at work.

After we left that group we went to two other houses where a young lady named Guadalupe accepted Christ for the first time and an older man at the other…Praise God!!!!

Ministering here in Teapa has been great and to see the way the Lord is moving and using us is completely amazing. To think that this is only the beginning is so exciting.

On a more humorous note…today is Jessica’s 24 birthday so this morning she woke up with a gift and card with flowers on her pillow from me. Then, after sneaking around all day and help from my teammates, we were able to pull off a small surprise birthday party. We got a cake and like true Mexican tradition, she got her face smashed in it and a piñata for the kids to have fun with. I think she’s had a pretty good birthday. Since we all are going to be together for our birthdays this year, we are going to make the most of it.

Tomorrow we are using as an “off” day to have some group time, shop around a bit, wash clothes, sleep a bit late and get some much needed rest. We will continue with ministry on Sunday.
